Kino Avenue Waterline Project continues; lane closures extended

KINGMAN – The Kino Avenue Waterline Project updated closure is currently at the Morrow Avenue and North Glen Road intersection, and also Plaza Drive from Morrow Ave. to Khan Dr. will be closed until April 24, barring any weather delays.

The contractor, Freiday Construction, is working with residents in the area regarding notification, but no water service delays or disruptions are scheduled to take place.

This project is the continuation of a multi-phased project to improve water delivery to city water storage tanks that will allow our infrastructure run more efficiently, resulting in an overall benefit to our customers. The total cost for the project is $1.51 million.

Up-to-date street closures will be located on the City of Kingman’s engineering website page of interactive Maps through the city’s Geographic Information Systems (GIS): https://www.cityofkingman.gov/government/departments/engineering/gis
