Investigation underway following fatal officer-involved shooting

MOHAVE COUNTY – The Bullhead City police department is conducting an independent investigation of a fatal officer-involved-shooting in Lake Havasu City. The practice is customary, as is the paid administrative leave of the two officers involved while the deadly gunfire exchange is under review. Laughlin Highway upgrades, lane closures start August 25

LAUGHLIN, Nev. – The Nevada Department of Transportation (NDOT) announces a dozen crash-related roadway pavement and barrier rail repairs along the Laughlin Highway (State Route 163) west of Casino Drive in Laughlin. The $200,000 project also calls for upgrades along State Route 165 (Nelson Road) at U.S. Highway 95 in Clark County. Gault Development LLC is the general contractor.
