Burley: COVID curve may be flattening for Mohave County

MOHAVE COUNTY – Department of Public Health Director Denise Burley told the Board of Supervisors Thursday that she is hopeful that Mohave County’s coronavirus curve might be flattening. “We’re seeing a slowing in our cases as you’ve notice in the last few days. Quad crash, suicide updates

MOHAVE COUNTY – The Mohave County Sheriff’s office has released the names of victims who died in separate crash and suspected suicide incidents. Two 13-year-old girls were killed when the quad they were riding was struck by a pickup truck whose driver fled the scene of the July 25 collision on Pierce Ferry Road in Dolan Springs. Sheriff’s spokeswoman Anita Mortensen identified the teens as Evelyn Arias, Dolan Springs, and Jocelyn Escamilla, Las Vegas.
