MOHAVE COUNTY – It was reported to the Mohave County Superior Court Clerk’s Office that there are persons posing as bail bondsmen when they are not. The fake bondsman prepares a generic looking contract with no business name, address, or phone number, he/she then requests a down payment in cash. Two arrested in LHC on separate drug charges

LAKE HAVASU CITY – Lake Havasu City police separate drug busts this week. Police said David Obermeyer, 69, was arrested following a Tuesday search of his home in the 3000 block of Pepperwood Drive. Officers reportedly seized 7 ounces of methamphetamine from the residence. The other arrest occurred after officers spotted a subject in the 2900 block of Kiowa Avenue who was known to be named in warrants issued for his arrest. Operation King Crimson nets 120 pounds of meth, two pounds of heroin

KINGMAN – Local authorities say two Kingman-based Drug Trafficking Organizations (DTO’s) have been dismantled through “Operation King Crimson”, a 21-month-long investigation coordinated by the MAGNET narcotics task force and supported by state and federal law enforcement agencies. Two dozen people 28-70 years of age have been arrested for various drug offenses. Most of the defendants are from Kingman while a few are from Golden Valley, Dolan Springs and Las Vegas.
