Drunk driver released with time served

BULLHEAD CITY – A Bullhead City woman was released from the Mohave County Jail following imposition of sentence in an impaired driving incident that included a crash and a scuffle with police officers. Mohave County Superior Court Judge Rick Lambert on August 12 imposed an 83-day jail sentence for Cali Samson, 21, and credited her for the same number of days spent in custody. KINGMAN – A Bullhead City man charged in an episode of violence evades a possible prison sentence under terms of a plea agreement entered in Mohave County Superior Court on August 13. Terms of the deal require Judge Rick Lambert to place Tyler Ziilch, 38, on probation at a September 9 sentencing hearing. Judge Lambert also has discretion to order up to a year in the county jail and up to $20,000 in restitution. BULLHEAD CITY – A Bullhead City man complained of unfair treatment, but nonetheless encouraged a judge in Kingman to approve the plea agreement that sends him to the Arizona Department of Corrections for a decade. The ten-year prison term is mandated in the plea deal convicting Kevin Goc, 51, of two counts of attempted possession of dangerous drugs for sale. BULLHEAD CITY – A local judge has declined a prison option but ordered a 120 day jail sentence for a Bullhead City man who was impaired when he crashed his vehicle through the glass front doors of a convenience store, injuring a patron a year ago. MOHAVE VALLEY – A Mohave Valley man told a judge last Friday that he killed his girlfriend early this year to end her suffering. Mohave County Superior Court Judge ordered a 13-year prison term for James Manker, 28. It was revealed during the sentencing hearing that Manker was severely disabled when he drove drunk and crashed a vehicle when he was a teenager about a decade ago. Three sentenced in Lake Havasu court cases

LAKE HAVASU – Three Lake Havasu City residents had their criminal matters resolved during hearings last Thursday at the Mohave County Courthouse in Kingman. The harshest punishment came in three drug cases involving Michael-Shawn Boultinghouse, 37. Superior Court Judge Derek Carlisle sent Boultinghouse to prison for 8.5 years. He was convicted of 2 narcotic drug related counts in a plea agreement that dismissed a mix of other charges. Prosecutor Amanda Claerhout said Boultinghouse possessed singed foil with heroin residue when arrested in December, 2018 at 3101 London Bridge Road.
