KINGMAN – A Golden Valley woman who has worked for the Mohave County Attorney’s office for 26 years was recently presented a lifetime achievement award. Robin Traxler was lauded during the Arizona Prosecuting Attorney’s Advisory Council annual conference for administrative professionals on August 23 in Mesa. Traxler began her near four-decade career in support of the criminal justice system in 1980 as a dispatcher for the Mohave County Sheriff’s Office. No bond for man accused of stabbing mother to death

KINGMAN – An alleged white supremacist “Skinhead” charged in the butcher-knife stabbing death of his mother appeared in court for an evidentiary hearing Tuesday. Judge Doug Camacho ruled that prosecutor Jaimye Ashley met her burden to show that proof is evident, and presumption is great that Travers Proulx, 43, murdered Bette Vaughn, 74 at Vaughn’s home on August 11. Repeat offender sentenced after assaulting officers

LAKE HAVASU CITY – A 250-day jail sentence has been imposed for a Lake Havasu City man who scuffled with police at a local night spot. Mohave County Superior Court Judge Rick Lambert also placed David Sterling, 32, on probation for three years and directed him to perform 200 hours of community work service. BULLHEAD CITY – A Bullhead City man who passed out during a drug binge entered a plea agreement Wednesday that will send him to the Arizona Department of Corrections. Prosecutor Jacob Cote said Christopher Pratt, 25, was unresponsive when discovered slumped in the driver’s seat of a running vehicle on Riviera Boulevard on July 3. Mohave County Superior Court Judge Rick Lambert was told that officers found three grams of methamphetamine in the vehicle along with usable quantities of heroin and marijuana and several drug paraphernalia items. BULLHEAD CITY – A Bullhead City woman who admits involvement in a scheme to alter stolen checks for profit faces a mandatory prison sentence after entering plea agreements during an August 12 hearing in Kingman Monday, Aug. 19. Ginger Deboard, 34, admitted violating probation and she pleaded guilty to a single count of fraud in a deal dismissing more than a dozen charges in multiple cases.
