Additional restrictions are being imposed to promote public health and prevent spread of the coronavirus at the Mohave County courthouse in Kingman. Various social distancing and operations changes were previously implemented under an Administrative Order issued last month by Presiding Judge Charles Gurtler.    Three of the four judges who hear criminal cases have now ramped up restrictions to the point that mostly only court personnel will appear in person for hearings. Four-day week implemented- KINGMAN – The Kingman Municipal Court will be open to the public, but it is encouraging people to avoid coming to the courthouse if possible. If someone is feeling ill, or has reason to believe that they have been exposed to someone who is ill, they are being asked to not enter into the Kingman Municipal Court. KINGMAN – In following Governor Ducey’s Executive Order (2020-18) “Stay Home, Stay Healthy, Stay Connected,” the City of Kingman is continuing the current closures of all city buildings (except the Municipal Courthouse, Parks and Cerbat Cliffs Golf Course) to all public access until at least May 4, 2020. Governor Ducey has asked Arizonans to limit their time away from their residences, but if people need to leave their homes, they practice physical distancing to slow the spread of COVID-19.
