CANE BEDS – An officer-involved shooting (OIS) is under investigation in the north Mohave County community of Cane Beds. The Mohave County Sheriff’s office received a report of shots fired at a residence at an unspecified time of day on Saturday. “Due to the nature of the call, the on-duty Mohave County deputy requested assistance from the Colorado City Marshal’s Office (CCMO),” said sheriff spokeswoman Anita Mortensen. She said CCMO officers arrived at the home before the deputy. “Upon arrival, the suspect reportedly pointed a firearm at the CCMO officers,” Mortensen said. “One officer fired one round at the suspect.”…

MOHAVE VALLEY – The Mohave County Sheriff’s office is trying to locate a man who allegedly threatened to kill others and himself during a Tuesday quarrel in Mohave Valley. Deputies responded at 4:30 p.m. to a residence in the 5600 block of Ruby Street. It had been reported that Cameron Anderson, 24, threatened three occupants of the home, saying he would shoot them and himself with a rifle. “Victims reported Anderson was waiving the gun around and also pointing the gun to his chin,” said agency spokeswoman Anita Mortensen. BULLHEAD CITY – Mohave Silent Witness is offering up to a $1,000 reward for any information leading the arrest of the person/s responsible for the recent criminal damage incidents at the Mohave County Republican Central Committee located at 1185 Hancock Road. On Friday, July 17, someone shattered the building’s front window. Damage to a window also occurred on May 28, 2020 and in May, 2019. There are no witnesses and police do not have any leads at this time. BULLHEAD CITY – Multiple parties tell Bullhead City police a confrontation between families turned deadly Tuesday. Police responded at 5:00 p.m. to a report of a shooting at a residence in the 600 block of Mead Lane. Bullhead City police department spokeswoman Emily Fromelt said members of separate families met to discuss ongoing issues when two men began fighting. Fromelt said gunfire claimed the life of Robert Cisneros, 46. The name of the other combatant is withheld.
