LAKE HAVASU CITY – Parents charged in a Lake Havasu city toddler homicide case were to enter plea agreements Tuesday, March 19 but the effort derailed when Andrew Lamorie, 24, contested portions of the factual basis provided to justify his guilty plea. Lamorie and Brittany Rodriguez, 27, are charged with first degree murder in the death of their 27-month-old daughter almost 30 months ago. BULLHEAD CITY – On Friday, May 22 at about 1 a.m., police and fire crews were called to a small fire in the dirt area next to the Family Dollar Store on Commercial Way. The responding officer deployed a fire extinguisher on the flames until Bullhead City firefighters arrived on scene to completely put out the fire. LAKE HAVASU CITY – A Lake Havasu City man who played video games and got high with a friend while his young daughter suffered fatal heat exhaustion when left unattended in a vehicle will go to the Arizona Department of Corrections for 16 years. DOLAN SPRINGS – Charges are dismissed in the criminal case against the former chief of a Dolan Springs-based fire district who was arrested last month after an argument with his wife and a fight with her teenage son. Deputy Mohave County Attorney Phillip Delgado said alleged victims did not wish Timothy Bonnee to be prosecuted. KINGMAN – A Kingman man fled on foot after crashing his vehicle into a fence along the Beale Street exit from Stockton Hill Road Wednesday. The incident before 8:00 a.m. was highly visible to those who commute to work in the downtown area. Police Chief Rusty Cooper said Matthew Clawson was bleeding when officers located and apprehended him just a few blocks from the accident.
