MOHAVE COUNTY – The Mohave County Sheriff’s office handled separate shooting and jail suicide incidents in Kingman just two hours apart Thursday. Deputies responded to a report of a weapons offense at 1:00 p.m. in the 4500 block of N. Frazell charged with multiple felonies

KINGMAN – Mohave County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) deputies arrested Jacob Patrick Frazell, 26, of Kingman on Wednesday morning, July 29 for possession of dangerous drugs, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and an outstanding warrant, all felonies. According to a MCSO spokesperson, at approximately 1:00 a.m., deputies contacted Frazell in the area of Swan Drive and Bluebird Lane. Officer involved in fatal shooting on leave during investigation

GOLDEN VALLEY – A man wanted for multiple felony offenses was killed in an Officer-Involved Shooting (OIS) in Golden Valley. Authorities said Jason Henke, 42, Golden Valley, died of multiple gunshot wounds late Wednesday at a home in the 3600 block of N. Santa Maria Road. The Kingman Police Department is conducting an independent investigation of the shooting involving a Mohave County sheriff’s deputy. Police spokeswoman Jennifer Sochocki said the deputy developed information during an 11:15 p.m. traffic stop that Henke was at the N. Santa Maria Road residence. Heroin hauler gets five years in plea agreement

KINGMAN – A Bullhead City man busted for hauling heroin is going to the Arizona Department of Corrections. A five-year prison term is mandated punishment in the plea agreement entered Friday for Michal Mallory. Prosecutor Jonathan Robinson told Judge Billy Sipe that Mallory was the driver of a vehicle pulled over May 6, 2018 on highway 95 near Aztec Road in Fort Mohave. He said the vehicle was searched after it was learned that Mallory and his passenger were both named in arrest warrants at the time. TOPOCK – A Topock man busted up a residence during a drunken rage, according to the Mohave County Sheriff’s office. Deputies reportedly responded about 3:00 p.m. Monday to a Topock residence in the 4500 block of Park Drive where they encountered Jacob Michael Kennedy, 23, in the driveway yelling at people. DOLAN SPRINGS – Two teenagers were killed when the quad they were riding was struck by a vehicle in Dolan Springs. The Mohave County Sheriff’s office responded at 8:30 p.m. Saturday to the incident at milepost 5 on Pierce Ferry Road.
