U.S. Air Force Airman Nicholas A. Bellhouse graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, San Antonio, Texas. The airman completed an intensive, eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills. Airmen who complete basic training also earn four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force. Bellhouse is the son of Nick and Delaine Bellhouse of Kingman. He is a 2019 graduate of Lee Williams High School.

High school seniors planning to attend college or technical school next fall should fill out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid, also called the FAFSA, as soon as possible beginning Oct. 1. The information on the FAFSA determines if students qualify for federal grants and student loans. It is also required to apply for state grants and scholarships. KINGMAN – The Kingman High School Class of 1979 is having their 40th class reunion on October 18 and 19. KINGMAN – The Kingman Concert Band is tuning up for its first performance of their 2019-2020 season, “A Journey Through Space”, at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 29, at Stetson Winery, 10965 N. Moonscape Way, Valle Vista. The public is encouraged to attend this free performance! The performance is free and open to the public. Volunteer members of the community band will present an afternoon of music taking the audience on an intergalactic trip.
