The Colorado River Union High School District (CRUHSD) governing board voted unanimously late Tuesday night to narrow the search for a new school superintendent to two finalists. The two, one from Arizona and one from South Dakota, will return next week for more interviews and community forums.  Todd Flora, an education program specialist with the Arizona Department of Education’s satellite office in Flagstaff, and Timothy Mayclin, superintendent of the Kimball School District in South Dakota, were among five semifinalists interviewed by the board over two nights. Only 48 hours after the TCU and Cal football teams finished an overtime battle in the Cheez-It Bowl, 80,000 square feet of turf had been taken up from the stadium floor. Hash marks, cleat marks, Cheez-It logos and all was loaded onto a dozen flatbed trailers and hauled 200 miles to Bullhead City, Arizona, where it was laid onto a plot of land that the community had spent thousands of dollars and many weeks preparing.
