Kingman Republican Women present tribute to veterans, active military

KINGMAN – The Kingman Republican Women’s Club (KRW) will host their monthly general meeting on Tuesday, November 12 at the DamBar Steakhouse, 1960 E. Andy Devine Ave. The meeting will be a tribute to American military with guest speaker Mike Myers, Vice President of the Jerry Ambrose Veteran Council, and a flag ceremony presented by the Young Marines of Kingman, headed by Robert Skankey. All are invited to attend the program which begins promptly at noon. Doors open at 11:00 a.m. and lunch is available per order. There is a $3 meeting fee collected at the door.

Extended service hours for City Complex; Utility billing will move to a four-day week

LHC man killed in three-vehicle crash

LAKE HAVASU CITY – On October 31, at approximately 5:05 p.m., officers with the Lake Havasu City Police Department (LHCPD) responded to a three-vehicle collision on SR 95 at mile post 186.3. According to a LHCPD press releasee, a Cadillac Deville driven by Charles Ostergaard, 36, Lake Havasu City, was traveling northbound on SR 95 when he crossed the center median and collided head-on with a Ford F-150, which was traveling southbound. Election night tally to be posted once next Tuesday

MOHAVE COUNTY – Interested citizens need not stay up late looking for updates as the Mohave County Elections Department will post unofficial returns early, and just once, on Election Night, Tuesday, Nov. 5. The single post occurs because a unique tabulation process will be used in the all-mail elections the county is conducting for Bullhead City and the Kingman Unified School District. Returns are typically posted and updated a number of times for traditional elections conducted with use of polling places and early balloting.
