Chloride VFW Aux 2190 held an Underwear Luncheon prior to Veterans Day to collect items needed by Landstuhl Regional Medical Center in Germany where many U.S. injured military are admitted. A luncheon of lasagne, bread, salad, cookies was held and socks and underwear donations were received.

GOLDEN VALLEY – Golden Valley Fire Battalion Chief David Martin, Captain Boyd Lewis and firefighters from Station #11, along with DPS law enforcement, responded to a two-vehicle accident at 2:50 p.m., today, at the intersection of Highway 68 and Aztec Drive. LAKE HAVASU CITY – For years, scientific research has redefined long-held ideas about vortex energy centers and demystified them for visitors. In 2015, through a partnership with the Lake Havasu City Convention & Visitors Bureau, nine vortex energy sites were identified in and around Lake Havasu City. The National Park Service is seeking public comment on an environmental assessment to evaluate the impacts of improving the existing Willow Beach Road, which provides visitors with access from U.S. Highway 93 to the Willow Beach developed area within Lake Mead National Recreation Area.
