Calling all bowlers for league signups

KINGMAN – Kingman bowling leagues are taking signups at Cerbat Lanes on Saturday mornings. Joining mid-season is no problem. There is a one-time annual registration card fee for youth of $9 and $25 for adults. Peewee (ages four and five) use bumpers and bowl two games every Saturday. Bantam/Prep (ages six to 11) and Jrs/Maj/Srs (ages 12-19) bowls three games every Saturday with two bowlers per team. Youth bowlers bowling in a sanctioned league are eligible to bowl in tournaments where they have the opportunity to earn scholarships. Santa Maria joins University at Albany

University at Albany has welcomed nearly 5,700 new Great Danes to campus for the fall of 2019. Of the new students, some 2,700 freshmen, from 28,000 applicants, make up the Class of 2023. Approximately 1,400 transfer students and 1,550 graduate students are also joining the campus community this fall. Library expansion groundbreaking is Monday

KINGMAN – The Board of Supervisors is hosting a groundbreaking ceremony for the start of the renovation and expansion of the Mohave County Library – Kingman at 3269 North Burbank Street. Dignitaries will make brief remarks during the event scheduled to begin at 11:00 a.m. next Monday, November 25. Local contractor T.R. Orr is handling the $4.3-million project with completion scheduled in late 2020. The groundbreaking is open to the public.
