KINGMAN – Kingman Republican Women (KRW) will be installing new Executive Board officers recently elected to fill the following positions: Nancy Moschcau, President; Cindy Landa-Cox, 1st Vice-President and Program Chairman; Kim Casey, 2nd Vice-President and Membership Chairman; Penny Holden, Treasurer; and Barbara Carpenter, Secretary. 2020 will be a very challenging year, an election year, and these women who volunteer their time, expect to work hard and will bring educational information about the candidates running for office to Kingman residents. North Country HealthCare Helping Solve Physician Shortage in Northern Arizona HRSA will provide $5.4 million dollars over the next 4 years for family medicine residency program – North Country HealthCare has received notice that the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) will fund its family medicine residency program, in the amount of $5.4 million over four years, providing vital funds to sustain the residency program. KINGMAN – At the Dec 4 meeting of the City of Kingman Water Sustainability Task Force, a new chairman and vice-chairman were voted on and elected. These changes will go into effect January 2020. The future Chairman is Rob Owen, Public Works Director for the City of Kingman. The future Vice Chairman is Katherine Fish, Floodplains Program Manager. Central Ave. closed in Kingman

KINGMAN – Central Avenue will be closed in both directions between Isador Ave. and Southern Ave., now through Friday, December 13 for water line construction. It will also be closed again on Monday and Tuesday, December 16 and 17. Detours will be via Yavapai Street from Southern Ave. and via Isador Ave. from Central St. The closure will be from 6:00am to 6:00pm daily, but will not be in effect over the weekend.

KINGMAN – The ARC of Mohave County and Panda Express have teamed up to raise funds for the ARC. On Friday, Dec. 13 from 10 a.m. to 10:30 p.m, Panda Express will be donating 20% of participating sales to the ARC. Patrons at Panda Express must show either a paper or digital version of the Fundraiser Flyer to have the 20% credited towards the fundraiser.
