River Fund charity event to honor Bruce Clark

LAUGHLIN, Nev.  – A Tri-State area tradition continues December 7 with the renamed “Bruce Clark’s Annual Charity Auction Benefitting River Fund, Inc.”  Donated vacation packages, artwork, furniture, fine dining, spa services, numerous gift certificates, electronics and even a helicopter scenic tour are among the 150-plus items up for bid. Clark, co-founder of KLBC-TV2 in Laughlin, was instrumental in River Fund’s creation in 2010.  He chaired River Fund’s volunteer board of directors when he died unexpectedly earlier this year.  His wife Lin is overseeing the auction. Golden Valley woman killed in fatal rollover

GOLDEN VALLEY – On Friday, Nov. 29, at about 11:15 p.m., Mohave County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) deputies responded to the 3800 block of Mormon Flat Road in regards to a single vehicle roll over. While responding, the reporting party located the vehicle belonging to his mother and step-father overturned on the road. Steven Lucero, 66 of Golden Valley, was found along the side of the road near the vehicle.
