KINGMAN – No one was injured in a residential structure in north Kingman Wednesday, Oct .16. Personnel from the Northern Arizona Consolidated Fire District responded at 3:00 a.m. to the incident in the 3100 block of Devlin Avenue. “First arriving fire personnel found smoke exiting the unoccupied single family residence,” assistant Fire Chief Keith Eaton said. He said the point of origin was located in the rear of the home and that crews mounted an offensive attack, preventing spread and bringing the fire under control. “Overhaul and salvage operations continued to confirm no spread of the fire,” Eaton said. BOULDER CITY, Nev. – First responders at Lake Mead rescued multiple visitors last week, saving lives. The team of law enforcement rangers, firefighters and paramedics protect nearly 15 million people that visit both Lake Mead and the Hoover Dam annually.  “Visitors’ safety is always a top priority. Come to the Kingman Airport for an open house, fly-in, warbird gathering and living history event this Saturday, Oct. 19 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. There will also be a car show open to hot rods, customs, and classics. AirFest dash plaques given away to the first 200 car entries and the gate will be open to the first 200 cars from 6:30 a.m. until 8:30 a.m. Due to limited space, the car show staff may decide if certain cars do not fit the criteria desired.
