KINGMAN Come and join White Cliffs Assisted Living Center for a monthly “Grief and Loss Support Group” on Wednesday, Jan. 15 at 6 p.m. These are group meetings to provide support to those who are struggling with issues related to grief and loss. KINGMAN – A contractor will be closing Central Avenue at Southern Ave., to complete a sewer line installation on Central Ave. Additionally they will be completing the water line connection in Southern Ave. which will require full flagging operations. LAKE HAVASU CITY – The public is invited to a January 11th Memorial Lighthouse dedication in Lake Havasu City that will honor chainsaw mogul and engineering entrepreneurs Robert P. McCulloch and Cornelius Vanderbilt “CV” Wood. They are credited as founders of Lake Havasu City and for relocating the famed London Bridge from Europe to Arizona. Other achievements include McCulloch’s aircraft designs and Wood’s early design involvement with Disneyland.  McCulloch and Wood family representatives agree, Robert and Cornelius would be proud of the success their vision of a city in the desert continues to achieve.
