LHCPD K-9 program update, fundraiser announcement
LAKE HAVASU CITY – Barbara Cross presents a check to Officer Brent Skancke for the Lake Havasu City Police Department’s K-9 program. Her efforts, along with the support of the community, raised thousands of dollars at the last fundraising event in December, solely for the purchase of the dog, training, and equipment for the program. “Rocky”, a two-year old Springer Spaniel Narcotics Detection K-9, and Officer Skancke, are currently going through training together and within a few weeks, Rocky will help in the fight against illegal drugs in Lake Havasu City.
