Deadline to submit nominations is May 12 PHOENIX — The Wildlife for Tomorrow Foundation is soliciting nominations for this year’s candidates for induction into the Arizona Outdoor Hall of Fame.  The Outdoor Hall of Fame annually recognizes individuals and organizations that have made significant and lasting contributions toward Arizona’s wildlife, the welfare of its natural resources, and the state’s outdoor heritage.  Submission deadline for nominations is 5  p.m. Tuesday, May 12. Former Governor Jane Dee Hull and Dr. Terry Hull pass away peacefully of natural causes

Our family is saddened to announce that our mom and dad, our Grammy Jane and Grandaddio, who many of you know as Governor Jane Dee Hull and Dr. Terry Hull, married 66 years, passed away within hours of each other of natural causes. They died peacefully at home surrounded by family. Our parents were age 84 and 85 respectively. County virus cases reach 54

MOHAVE COUNTY, AZ (April 17, 2020) – The Mohave County Health Department MCDPH-Nursing staff was notified early this evening of two positive COVID-19 cases, one each in the Kingman and Lake Havasu City service areas. Both individuals are in the 20-44 age range, in isolation and recovering at home. Our staff will soon be initiating the contact investigation; until the investigation is conducted, it is unknown at this time if the case may be travel-related, epidemiologically-linked to another confirmed case, or the result of community spread. USDA award to bolster state wildlife habitat improvement project

Natural Resources Conservation Service to invest $2.85 million PHOENIX — The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) announced today that the Arizona Game and Fish Department (AZGFD) will leverage $2.85 million for wildlife habitat improvement projects through the Natural Resources Conservation Service’s (NRCS) Regional Conservation Partnership Program (RCPP).  Under the 2018 Farm Bill, RCPP uses a partner-driven approach, matching the contributions of partnering organizations dollar-for-dollar to provide for an even bigger impact on the ground.
