MOHAVE COUNTY, AZ (May 5, 2020) Late this afternoon, the Mohave County Health Department (MCDPH) Nursing staff was notified of three new COVID-19 positive cases and two COVID-19 related deaths from previous positive cases in Mohave County. Two of the new cases are in the Lake Havasu City service area, one is in the 20-44 year age range, in isolation, recovering at home, and linked to another confirmed case. Following guidance from the White House, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and state and local public health authorities, Lake Mead National Recreation Area is increasing recreational access for pass holders. The National Park Service is working servicewide with federal, state and local public health authorities to closely monitor the COVID-19 pandemic and using a phased approach to increase access on a park-by-park basis. Dixie State University proudly recognizes the institution’s largest-ever graduating class during this unprecedented year, awarding 2,388 degrees to 2,021 graduates. “The University is excited to celebrate the accomplishments of our largest graduating class in DSU’s history,” Dixie State President Richard B.
