MOHAVE COUNTY – The Mohave County Health Department (MCDPH) Nursing staff was notified Saturday evening of seven new COVID-19 positive cases in Mohave County. Two of the cases are in the Kingman service area. One is a person in the 55-64 age range, who is hospitalized and is linked to another case. The other is in the 45-54 age range, is in isolation and recovering at home and is linked to another confirmed case. The other five cases are all in the Bullhead City service area. MCC awards over $1.1 million in scholarships to local high school students

MOHAVE COUNTY – Mohave Community College just awarded more than 560 scholarships to high school students throughout Mohave County, which totals $1.176 million going toward students achieving higher education. The college is currently notifying students to let them know they qualify for the Academic Honors Scholarship worth $1,000, Campus Dean’s Scholarship worth $1,500 or the President’s High Honors Scholarship, which gives students $4,000 over two years. “MCC and our Foundation partners are happy to offer scholarships to so many deserving students from Mohave County. Two deaths, 8 new COVID-19 cases in Mohave County today

MOHAVE COUNTY, AZ (May 1, 2020) The Mohave County Health Department (MCDPH) Nursing staff was notified this afternoon of two COVID-19 related deaths and eight positive cases. Both deaths were in previously identified confirmed cases. The two deaths occurred in the Kingman service area. Both are linked to another case. One is in the 75-85 year range and the other is 86+. Regarding the 8 cases, 7 are in the Kingman service area and 1 is in the Lake Havasu area. The investigation is pending on the Havasu case.
