MOHAVE COUNTY – Late Wednesday afternoon, the Mohave County Health Department (MCDPH) Nursing staff was notified of six new COVID-19 cases.  There are also two deaths.  Both deaths are individuals who are in the 80-89 year age range. Havasu boating accident claims Phoenix man’s life

LAKE HAVASU – One man was killed and another critically injured when two boats collided at Lake Havasu. Public safety officials from Lake Havasu City and Mohave County responded to the incident in the area of Site 6 at 10:30 p.m. Wednesday. “Multiple callers advised that two boats had collided and multiple victims were in the water,” said Sheriff’s Office spokeswoman Anita Mortensen. Golden Valley house fire claims kids

GOLDEN VALLEY – Two deaths and multiple serious injuries are reported in a Golden Valley house fire. Authorities responded at 12:25 a.m. to the blaze in the 4800 block of N. Elgin road. Mohave County sheriff’s office spokeswoman Anita Mortensen said three adults and five children were in the home when it caught fire. “Two female children, ages 4 and 11, were located deceased inside the residence after the fire was extinguished,” she said. LHC Site Six closed for repairs

LAKE HAVASU CITY – Lake Havasu City scheduled the closure of the entrance and exit to Site Six, starting Thursday, June 4 at 10 p.m. until Friday, June 5 at 6 a.m. This closure allows for a force main repair, making restrooms functional once again.   By making needed repairs, it is hoped to improve the overall experience for everyone at Site Six.
