MOHAVE COUNTY – Ricarda DeAnda is now a Mohave Community College alumna and is on the road to better her community by utilizing her degree. DeAnda completed her Associates of Arts in Substance Abuse and Counseling. Creating special senior opportunities KINGMAN — Effective August 6, the Kingman Food Bank will alter its operating hours to include special hours for seniors, and early evening hours for those who cannot make our regular morning hours of 8 a.m. until noon on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Fridays. COVID-19 update: 74 new cases, one death

MOHAVE COUNTY – Late Thursday afternoon, the Mohave County Health Department (MCDPH) Nursing staff was notified of 74 new confirmed COVID-19 cases and that includes one death not previously reported. The one death is that of a 90+ year age range person and it’s a case in the Bullhead City service area that was not previously reported. Of the 73 other cases, 26 cases are in the Lake Havasu City service area. There are 25 cases in the Bullhead City service area. Governor Ducey issues executive order to further protect public health

Governor Doug Ducey yestserday extended an executive order pausing operations on gyms, bars, nightclubs, movie theaters, water parks, and tubing. The order also continues to prohibit large public events and enables local law enforcement to take immediate enforcement action to ensure compliance with the order. Two additional positive COVID-19 at Adult Detention Center

KINGMAN – Two new coronavirus infections are documented among the inmate population at the Mohave County Adult Detention Center in Kingman. Positive Thursday test results for the male inmates prompted their placement in medical isolation cells where they will undergo additional testing during a cautionary 14-day quarantine. One of the inmates traces to the Bullhead City service area and the other the Lake Havasu City service area.
