KINGMAN – The Mohave County Fair Association’s 34-year run administering the Fairgrounds facilities in Kingman could be near its end. The Board of Supervisors voted Monday to terminate its lease with the association and place the Fairgrounds under the administration of the County Parks Department and Director Kristin Zimmerman. Supervisors heard only unfavorable reviews of the Association and its Fairgrounds operation during Monday’s Board meeting. KINGMAN – A budget and legislative session community meeting will be open to the public on Tuesday, Aug. 17 beginning at 1 p.m. at the Mohave County Board of Supervisors auditorium, 700 W. Beale St. The meeting will be hosted by Arizona Governor’s Office Director of Strategic Planning and Budgeting Matt Gates; Arizona House of Representatives Chairman of Appropriations Regina Cobb; and Arizona State Senate Chairman of Appropriations David Gowan. KRMC tightens visitor restrictions amid COVID surge

KINGMAN  – Beginning at 8:00 am Tuesday, August 17, Kingman Regional Medical Center (KRMC) will move to Level Three visitor restrictions. Following the hospital’s commitment to keep safe visitation available to patients and families, KRMC implemented three categories of visitation for hospitalized patients. Level three is the most restrictive. Under level three restrictions: Visitation is allowed at two separate times each day, from 8:00 am to 10:00 am and again from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm.
