BLM seeks public comment on proposed wild burro management plan in western Arizona 

KINGMAN, Ariz. — The Bureau of Land Management today opened a 30-day public comment period for an environmental assessment that analyzes a 10-year plan to remove excess wild burros and implement herd fertility controls in and near the Alamo, Big Sandy and Havasu herd management areas south of Kingman, collectively known as the Three Rivers Complex. Youth Exchange Chair speaks at Rotary

Speaking at Kingman Route 66 Rotary Club’s September 8 meeting was Machel Considine, Rotary District 5495 Youth Exchange InBound Chair. The Rotary In-Bound Youth Exchange Program has been active since 1975. Each year students, ages 15 to18.5  come to the United States from another country and live with Rotary host families while going to school. Upcoming pavement preservation project lane restrictions

KINGMAN, Ariz. – Starting Monday, September 18, 2023 and continuing through the month of October, the City of Kingman will be conducting pavement preservation projects throughout the city. These projects will include chip seal in residential district 1, as well as milling, grading, and paving in the areas listed below. Work is expected to be performed between 6:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
