Christmas fundraiser brings Voices of the River

BULLHEAD CITY – The Show Committee of Mohave Community College Foundation’s annual Christmas fundraiser met recently to put its finishing touches on one of the holiday season’s most anticipated events, “A Night at the Gala,” featuring the area’s incomparable choir, Voices of the River.  This year’s show is an armchair traveler’s dream of holiday melodies and classical Christmas carols sung throughout Europe, the British Isles and several of the less-traveled backroads of our country. Two injured in house fire

LAKE HAVASU CITY – A civilian and a firefighter were hurt during a residential structure fire in Lake Havasu City. Crews responded just before 7:00 p.m. Sunday when occupants evacuated after discovering a fire in the garage of a home in the 4100 block of Bison Boulevard. “The first arriving fire company reported a working fire in the garage with flames through the roof,” a news release said. “One occupant was treated on-scene and released.
