LAKE HAVASU CITY – The Lake Havasu community had a chance at an early celebration with the 100 Years Grand event, the story of Arizona Highways Magazine. KINGMAN – Kingman police continue a death investigation associated with a fire at a makeshift dwelling on a rocky hillside in downtown Kingman. A family hiking a pathway within the White Cliffs hiking trail system came across the body of the victim north of where Eighth Street dead ends at about 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 13. Deputy police chief Joel Freed said it appeared the man was burned when his mattress caught fire. He said investigators determined he escaped the fire scene but fell and sustained further injuries.
