O’ Christmas Tree Festival is ready for the holidays

LAKE HAVASU CITY – You know the holiday season is in full swing when Women With Willpower (WWW) break out their beautiful Christmas trees at their O’ Christmas Tree Festival on Sunday, Nov. 26 from 1 to 5 p.m. at the London Bridge Resort. For the past 12 years, their O’Christmas tree fundraising event displays a variety of beautifully decorated trees.  This year, the event will have 15 to 17 Christmas trees that will be raffled off. Each tree has a price value of $250 minimum. Some 35 baskets will also be included in a 50/50 raffle. PHOENIX — The Arizona Game and Fish Department has announced the winners of the 2023 wildlife photo contest.  The 12 winning photographs are included in the full-size 2024 wildlife calendar that is published in the November-December 2023 issue of Arizona Wildlife Views magazine.  Anne James’ photo of a ringtail was awarded best in show and is showcased on both the cover and in the calendar. James, of Payson, said, “I knew few entries would include a ringtail because of their nocturnal nature and that it wasn’t an ordinary image.” The 12 winning photographers are:  * Jim Burns, Scottsdale: Round-tailed ground squirrel kits *…
