What’s in your water; is it safe to drink?
Water and its availability are on just about everyone’s mind especially because Lake Mead is almost at critical levels. The Colorado River, that feeds Lake Mead, provides water to eight states, in addition to Mexico. These states are divided into two regions: the Upper Basin and the Lower Basin. The Upper Basin includes Colorado, New Mexico, Utah, and Wyoming. The Lower Basin includes Arizona, California, and Nevada, and Mexico. Kingman military historian and instructor Tom Saluzzo, recently gave a presentation at the Mohave Community College Beale Street Center: “V Was For Victory – The American Homefront During WWII.” For future military related presentations by Tom, check out the MCC Community & Corporate Education (Life & Leisure) section of their webpage. Price earns Dean’s List honors
Trevor Price of Bullhead City has been named to Linfield University’s fall 2023 Dean’s List. The Dean’s List identifies undergraduate students who have earned a term GPA at least equivalent to a cum laude (at least 3.650 GPA) for a given semester and is computed following the posting of grades at the end of each semester. Linfield wishes to congratulate Trevor on this achievement, and honor the time, energy and dedication that made it possible.
