Installation of a Second Left-Hand Turn Lane on N. Yavapai Street

KINGMAN, Ariz. – The City of Kingman will be working to update lane striping in the areas of Airway Avenue, N. Yavapai Street, and N. Diamond Street on Friday, January 19th from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The focus of this project is to create a second left-hand turn lane off of N. Yavapai Street onto Airway Ave. During this time there will be travel delays due to intermittent lane restrictions. Robert Skankey, Unit Commander of The Kingman Young Marines, gave a powerpoint presentation at Kingman Route 66 Rotary Club’s January 12 meeting. The Kingman Young Marines is part of a national organization that promotes a healthy drug-free lifestyle in youth 8-18 years old. The program focuses on teaching leadership, teamwork and self-discipline to help youth grow up to be contributing members of society. Bullhead City Municipal pool deck to be resurfaced 

BULLHEAD CITY – The Bullhead City Municipal Pool deck is scheduled to receive substantial new maintenance for the first time since the pool was opened in 1992.
