Donation Drive for Shelter Animals at High Desert Hyundai

KINGMAN – Friends of Mohave County Animal Shelter is holding a donation drive at High Desert Hyundai, 4180 Stockton Hill Rd, from February 14 –through March 6. Hours are Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. The cupboards are bare at the Mohave County Animal Shelter and they need community support to help stock up. Transient fatality in Bullhead City

BULLHEAD CITY – Bullhead City Police report a transient was lying in the roadway at Highway 95 and Thunderstruck when he was fatally injured by a passing vehicle. Officers responded to the incident at about 11:10 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 7. Police spokeswoman Emily Fromelt said the 29-year-old driver of a 2017 Chevrolet Sonic was unable to avoid striking Anthony Lockwood. She said Lockwood died of his injuries following transport to Western Arizona Regional Medical Center.
