The City of Kingman received regulatory approvals from the Arizona State Department of Environmental Quality (ADEQ), and have started transitioning customers to the new main. Crews will continue to work on tie-ins the remainder of this week, and Sunday night April 28. Water outages are planned to occur at night and outside business hours, so we encourage people to still visit businesses in the work zones. CHLORIDE – Newly renovated Yesterday’s Restaurant and Shep’s Miner’s Inn is open for business. Rich in history, its main building was built to house a late 1800’s stage-coach repair and rest stop. CHLORIDE – A bi-annual all-town yard sale begins at 8 a.m. on Saturday May 4h, and ends when the last treasure hunter leaves town. Multitudes travel to this former mining town seizing upon amazing steals. This twice a year event is often described as a bargain hunter’s dream. Cars, machines, toys, guns, household supplies, antiques, you name it and it’s usually on display for sale. Gift shops also present amazingly reduced priced items.
