Exotic animal measure is withdrawn

A controversial resolution that would have imposed restrictions for circuses and other shows featuring dangerous exotic wild animals such as bears and elephants was not heard during Tuesday’s Kingman City council meeting. MOHAVE COUNTY- Mohave County Women, Infant, and Children (WIC) program provides nutrition assistance to eligible women, infants, and children. WIC provides supplemental nutritious foods, nutrition education, breastfeeding support, and referrals to health care and community resources to participants. UniSource Electric is planning a wire pull to replace a section of their circuit parallel to Beale Street and crossing Andy Devine which will require three phases of operations: Tuesday 7/23 – a wire pull between 10th St.  along Beale and ending at the SE corner of 1100 Andy Devine. Traffic will be needed plus two flagmen and two KPD patrol officers for stoppages of traffic. City upgrades Acoma Boulevard and Saratoga Avenue intersection

To enhance traffic safety and flow at the intersection of Acoma Boulevard and Saratoga Avenue, Lake Havasu City is installing new stop signs on July 24, making the intersection into a 3-Way (Multi-Way) Stop Controlled Intersection. Temporary warning signs will also be in place to allow motorists to acquaint themselves with the change in this area on the first day that the signs are fully operational.
