WIC benefits and services

MOHAVE COUNTY- Mohave County Women, Infant, and Children (WIC) program provides nutrition assistance to eligible women, infants, and children. WIC provides supplemental nutritious foods, nutrition education, breastfeeding support, and referrals to health care and community resources to participants. The WIC program is available in Kingman, Bullhead City, and Lake Havasu City. To be eligible, a person must:

Be a pregnant woman; a breastfeeding woman who has had a baby in the last 12 months; a woman who has had a baby in the last six months; an infant; or a child up to the fifth birthday;

Reside in Mohave County or Laughlin, Nevada.

All WIC Income Eligibility Guidelines are based on GROSS income, meaning before taxes or other deductions

Have an identified nutritional risk as determined by a health professional. Nutritional problems include anemia, poor growth, previous poor pregnancy outcome, inadequate dietary intake, and other nutrition-related health problems.

Additionally, Kingman WIC will be implementing a pilot project to expand service hours. The project will run August 13th through November 12th and the clinic will be open from 7:15am-6:00 pm, on Tuesdays. If the project is successful, extended service hours may continue.

For more information about WIC or to make an appointment, please contact your local WIC clinic between 8 am and 9 am Monday through Friday to schedule a same day appointment.  (If you are unable to call during this hour, call between 9 am – 6 pm Monday through Thursday or 9-12 am on Friday to set a future appointment:
