Fairgrounds employee used Fairgrounds to film car burnouts

Video of a mustang spinning donuts and performing rolling burnouts on blacktop at the Mohave County Fairgrounds in Kingman was played during Monday’s Board of Supervisors meeting. Some ninety seconds of video showed billowing smoke from burned rubber and sparks flying from the pavement as at least one tire apparently burned off its wheel rim. A second, shorter video showed two vehicles linked by chain engaged in a tug of war inside a fairgrounds building. BULLHEAD CITY – The Saving Animals In Need Together (SAINT) pet-welfare organization recently announced plans to open a low cost spay and neuter center in Bullhead City, thanks to a bequest from Mr. Raymond Hilton. Woman, dog escape home fire

BULLHEAD CITY – A woman and her dog safely evacuated a Saturday fire that spread from a residence in the 800 block of Roadrunner Dr. Bullhead City Fire Department spokeswoman Lori Viles said crews mounted an aggressive attack of the fire just after 4:00 p.m. Viles said spreading flames scorched a detached shed behind the home. “The blaze caused shrubbery along the perimeter chain-link fence to catch fire causing the fire to extend to two separate wooden sheds located in neighboring backyards on Stahlman Dr.,” she said.
