Dog Days of Summer at Farmer’s Market

KINGMAN – The Kingman Farmers Market will celebrate the end of “The Dog Days of Summer” Saturday, August 31 by collecting pet food for the Mohave County Animal Shelter and Golden Valley Pet Recovery. Please bring cans and bags of pet food to the market at 102 E Beale between 8 a.m. and noon, and join with these two fantastic community organizations for animal welfare, volunteer some time, adopt or foster pets. There will be live music from the Dale Gillespie Band; and a great variety of handcrafted products; home-baked treats and local produce.

Everything from Ancho peppers to zucchini; from apricot jam to zany potholders; from aromatic balms and soaps to zesty hot sauces; from amazing yard and garden decor and Barbados baked goods to yellow squash and zippy sweets; from amazing jewelry to beautiful handmade knives that Zorro would be proud to have in his pocket for backup. Yes, all that (and more) will be available at Kingman Farmers Market in the Thunder-Rode Outdoor Event Center, 102 Beale Street, from 8 until noon, Saturday, August 31.
