MOHAVE COUNTY – Approximately 100 business, industry, government and education leaders from throughout the tri-state region participated in the Mohave Community College Future Summit last week. The summit was held at the Anderson Auto Group Fieldhouse and is part of the college strategic planning process. “I would really like to thank everyone for being here,” said MCC President Dr. Stacy Klippenstein.  “It’s great to see so many community leaders here to help shape the college strategic plan, so we can ensure world class education and services for students and our communities in the years to come.” Among those in attendance…

London Bridge Republican Women’s Club will host a dinner on Monday, Feb. 3 at Shugrue’s Bridgeview Room, 1425 N. McCulloch Blvd. The guest speaker will be Daniel McCarthy, candidate for U.S. Senate. Representatives from Martha McSally’s campaign will also be on hand. Check-in is at 5:30 p.m. with dinner at 6:30 p.m. Cost is $18 at the door. City offices in Lake Havasu City, Kingman, and Bullhead City will be closed on Monday, January 20, in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day. Police and Fire Department services are unaffected, however administrative offices are closed. All City offices resume normal schedules on Tuesday, January 21. The Aquatic Center in Lake Havasu City is open for lap swim and exercise classes until 1:00 p.m. and the Community Center is open for Pickleball from 9:00 a.m. to noon. Trash and recycling services are not interrupted in Lake Havasu City. In Kingman, there will be no residential or commercial trash service…
