SBDC offering free business seminars

MOHAVE COUNTY – The Small Business Development Center (SBDC) will be hosting free webinars in February.

“Dream Spring Webinar: Credit” will be held Tuesday, Feb. 25 from noon to 1 p.m. via Zoom, and will be presented by Tony Salazar, Dream Spring Loan Officer. This webinar will focus on the credit score demystified … what is it and how it’s calculated; why credit score is important; how to improve credit scores; and how Dream Spring and lenders use credit.

Business Compliance Clinic Webinar will be held Wednesday, Feb. 26, also from noon to 1 p.m. via Zoom. This webinar will guide you step-by-step for business compliance for the State of Arizona. Learn about business structure options, securing a business name, transaction privilege tax, city business license, employer identification number, contractor’s license, liquor license, general liability insurance, and a customized business checklist. The presenter is SBDC Director Lisa Card and SBDC Business Analyst Meghan Borker.
