MOHAVE COUNTY – Mohave County Department of Public Health (MCDPH)-Nursing has been notified this afternoon (4/5/20) of a positive COVID-19 case in the Lake Havasu City service area. The individual is in isolation and recovering at home. Our nurses are currently in the process of the contact investigation. There are now 10 positive confirmed cases in the Lake Havasu City area, six in Kingman, and two in Bullhead City. One of the 18 passed away and became the first COVID-19-related death in the county. Additional closures ordered statewide due to COVID-19

MOHAVE COUNTY – Bullhead City park staff spent a great deal of time Saturday closing park amenities per Arizona Governor Doug Ducey’s Executive Order issued late Friday. Also consistent with the Governor’s order, the city also instructed all barbers, cosmetology, hairstyling, nail salons and aesthetic salons, tanning salons, tattoo parlors, spas, and massage parlors to close. On Saturday, City park staff closed the Skate Park at Rotary Park, removed all rims from all park basketball hoops, closed all bathrooms, removed picnic tables and shut down all dugouts. MOHAVE COUNTY, AZ (April 4, 2020) Mohave County Department of Public Health (MCDPH) has been notified tonight of two additional COVID-19 positive cases.  One out of these is from the Lake Havasu City area, who is epidemiologically linked to a previously identified Mohave County case.  The other is a case in the Kingman area.
