BULLHEAD CITY  – On Tuesday, July 15, at 7:33 a.m., 542 Mohave Electric Cooperative (MEC) members experienced an outage due to a damaged connector after strong stormy winds. Crews responded by de-energizing the line to make repairs. Once repairs were completed, the line was re-energized, and power was restored to all members at 9:53 a.m. The outage affected members north of Marina Blvd. and south of Church Street of Bullhead City. Manager of Engineering & Operations, Jerry Hardy stated, “Monsoon season has begun, and wind can be one of the largest effects on our system. When trees, awnings, or other…
