KINGMAN – Public Works Director Steve Latoski will detail the transition plan for bringing the Mohave County Fairgrounds operations in-house during the next Board of Supervisors meeting. Latoski will outline the sequence of tasks that will occur as the County ends its lease arrangement with the Fair Association at the end of the year. County Manager Sam Elters is proposing use of up to $100,000 for a consultant to study the Fairgrounds. Recommendations will include where the facilities should be located in the future. MOHAVE COUNTY – Arizona State Parks and Trails continue to provide value for residents and visitors to the Grand Canyon State, according to a recently published study of the economic contribution and impacts of Arizona’s state parks for fiscal year 2020. Overall, total spending by all visitors to Arizona’s state park is estimated to be $332 million, including spending in and within 50 miles of parks.
