Kerry Lyn Dinnella

On August 29, 2026, we lost a truly special woman. Kerry Lyn Dinnella was born September 10, 1967 in San Jose, California. She had an exceptionally rough childhood and unfortunately life never really made it easier on her.

She was a single mom raising two young kids, Carl Davis and Kyle Lombardi. All while working a full-time job and going to school to become a nurse. She became a registered nurse and through many courses eventually got her Master’s in nursing. She loved teaching and showed the way for so many aspiring nurses. She was the strongest woman in the world and gave so many people a reason to just keep going and to stay strong.

She made it longer in life than most of her family. After losing two of her brothers, Richard and Lee McVay, her two kids Carl Davis and Kyle Lombardi, her parents Ernest and Ellen “Joyce” Lombardi and her husband and love of her life Frank Dinnella she still found a way to bring Jesus into her life.

She is survived by her brother Anthony “Tony” Lombardi, her stepchildren Tim Dinnella, Amanda Kron, and Jacob Dinnella, and her grandchild Kaleb Lombardi. R.I.P. Kerry you will be missed. You were the glue that kept so many together. We look forward to meeting back up in heaven.
