MOHAVE COUNTY – Mohave County has allocated less than half of the $6.5 million that the federal government provided in March to provide rental and utility assistance to citizens and businesses struggling during the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. The county has until the end of Sept. next year to complete the process. MOHAVE COUNTY – Mohave County officials have been steadfast in refuting allegations that its employees have engaged in excessive, if not illegal, enforcement of COVID-19 rules, regulations, and restrictions, but there’s a concession that staff made dozens of errors in another arena. BULLHEAD CITY – Bullhead City is pledging $65,000 toward a $150,000 package to subsidize daily air service to Los Angeles. KINGMAN – Mohave County Supervisor Jean Bishop (R-Dist. 4) on Sept. 6 spoke to the Kingman Republican Women on a variety of topics including her proposals for use of the District 4 allocation of the Rescue Plan fund. Mohave County will receive $41 million from the Federal Government which the Supervisors voted to split evenly by supervisorial district.
