KINGMAN – A Colorado-based development company submitted the only bid for a 30-acre parcel at the Kingman Airport Industrial Park. KiernanWest LLC offered the minimum $1,975,000 required for the purchase in a bid opened Friday. Chief Operating Officer Mike O’Brien said the company isn’t ready to divulge details at this point. “We are doing a build to suit for a tenant that does package delivery,” O’Brien said. “Outside of that our tenant requires a high degree of confidentiality.” O’Brien said it may be a couple of months or more before project details are made public. MOHAVE COUNTY – The Special Judicial Officer Selection Commission has invited 4 of the 7 applicants to interview for Mohave County Court Commissioner. The bench seat was vacated last month when Megan McCoy was promoted to Superior Court Judge in place of the Honorable Charles Gurtler who retired June 1. KINGMAN – Economic Development Manager Bennett Bratley is optimistic the City of Kingman may achieve a significant land sale at the Kingman Airport Industrial Park. Bratley told the Airport and Industrial Park Advisory Commission Monday that bids will be opened Thursday for a 30-acre parcel that can be sold for no less than $1,975,000. Bratley said at least one party will submit a bid for the property. The identity of the potential purchaser has not been disclosed.
