Rancho Santa Fe project update

KINGMAN – Kingman City Manager Ron Foggin is reporting progress with respect to the proposed Interstate 40 Rancho Santa Fe Interchange and Parkway project. Foggin expressed excitement in his Thursday afternoon memo to the Mayor and Council members. Foggin said Kingman has received an executed copy of the development agreement along with a check for $54,000 that was due to the city when the agreement was signed. I-40 Rancho Santa Fe Parkway project on hold

KINGMAN – The Arizona Department of Transportation indicates that the Interstate 40 Rancho Santa Fe Parkway project “is on hold.” The project that includes development of a multi-million-dollar interchange with arterials leading north to the Kingman Airport and South to Hualapai Mountain Road had been scheduled to be put out for construction bids on Wednesday, Nov. 17. LHCPD awarded Governor’s Office of Highway Safety grant

LAKE HAVASU CITY – The Lake Havasu City Police Department was awarded a $27,819.00 grant from the Governor’s Office of Highway Safety (GOHS) for conducting increased traffic enforcement operations and to purchase five (5) directional radar units. This will be for the 2021-2022 federal fiscal year, which runs from Oct. 1, 2021, to Sept. 30, 2022.
