WASHINGTON, D.C. The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) and U.S. Forest Service (USFS)has announced selections for the National Wild Horse and Burro Advisory Board. The agencies selected two new members and re-appointed a third to the board, which advises both agencies on the management and protection of wild free-roaming horses and burros on public lands. The National Wild Horse and Burro Advisory Board is comprised of nine members of diverse expertise and backgrounds who provide guidance and recommendations to the BLM and USFS involving wild free-roaming horses and burros on public lands. KINGMAN – In September of 2019 the Kingman Police Department (KPD) was one of the first agencies in Arizona to be accredited through the AZ Law Enforcement Accreditation Program (ALEAP).  The accreditation program requires that accredited agencies undergo annual review and a formal on-site visit every four years. BULLHEAD CITY – On Thursday, September 21, Mohave Electric Cooperative, Inc. held its Annual Meeting at the Anderson Auto Group Fieldhouse. The district and annual meetings were attended by 360 Cooperative members collectively, as well as many special guests. This year’s annual meeting attendees received a Ryobi, cordless, bucket-top misting fan kit and some lucky winners won great door prizes and power credits. The annual event, as mandated by the Cooperative’s bylaws, provided an opportunity to discuss several items from the past year as well as looking forward to the future.
