BULLHEAD CITY – The Bullhead City Council, at a Regular Meeting on March 5, 2024, adopted Resolution No. 2024R-12 designating July 30, 2024, as the date for holding a Primary Election in Bullhead City to propose the question of authorizing a permanent adjustment to the 1979-1980 base expenditure limitation for Bullhead City.  Ballot language and frequently asked questions (FAQs) are available from the Bullhead City Clerk’s Office and on the website www.bullheadcity.com, under “Elections.” There will be no fee assessed in order to submit an argument for the publicity pamphlet associated with the election.  Arguments received by the City will be submitted…

Dr. Chad Kingsley MOHAVE COUNTY – Dr. Chad Kingsley is stepping down as Director for the Mohave County Department of Public Health, a position he held for nearly two years. Kingsley will be relocating to the silver state where he has been selected to serve as the new District Health Officer of Northern Nevada Public Health. LAKE HAVASU CITY – The Tuesday, March 26 City Council meeting was the first gathering at the new Lake Havasu courthouse at 92 Acoma Boulevard South.  In honor of Women’s History Month, the city’s report shared that the first inaugural flag was hung at Mohave Community College. The mayor attended this event, and the flag is now being displayed at the campus’s special interest flagpole which is located between buildings five hundred and six hundred. KINGMAN – The Las Vegas businessmen fighting for control of the City of Kingman’s private sector partner on the Interstate 40 Rancho Santa Fe Traffic Interchange (TI) project are preparing to hunker down for more than one week before a professional referee.Both Bill Lenhart and Bill Plise claim the right to lead KDP Manager, an entity married to the city through a 70-page development agreement for the TI endeavor. PHOENIX – The Arizona Department of Gaming (ADG) has announced $28,578,515 in tribal gaming contributions to the Arizona Benefits Fund for the third quarter of Fiscal Year (FY) 2024.
