City of Kingman secures grant for Industrial Park roadways

KINGMAN – The City of Kingman has announced that it has been selected as one of the recipients of the 2024 Economic Strength Project Grant Award. This award will provide $450,000 to fund the reconstruction and paving of two vital streets within the Kingman Airport and Industrial Park.

The grant will be used to reconstruct and pave Transport Way and Government Way, which run from Mohave Airport Drive to Finance Way. This project is not only an investment in infrastructure but also a strategic effort to stimulate economic growth by generating new employment opportunities. The businesses affected by this reconstruction will be better able to expand their production capacity, leading to the creation of new jobs.
